As of 2020, within the scope of "TR Index Journal Evaluation Criteria" announced by TR Index, compliance with ethical rules has been requested.

In this context; the issue of “including information about permission in the article” in studies requiring ethics committee approval was added to the criteria of journals within its scope by TR Index.

In this respect;

1. For the studies listed below, “Ethics Committee Approval” must be obtained and submitted to the journal with the article.

• All kinds of research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using questionnaires, interview, focus group work, observation, experimentation, and interview techniques,
• Use of humans and animals (including material / data) for experimental or other scientific purposes,
• Clinical trials on humans,
• Research on animals,
• Retrospective studies in accordance with the law on protection of personal data.

2. Also,

• Stating that the "Informed Consent Form" was received in case presentations,

• Obtaining and indicating permission from the owners for the use of scales, questionnaires and photographs belonging to others,

• It should be stated that the copyright regulations are complied with for the intellectual and artistic works used.

3. For researches conducted outside of the university, researchers are required to apply to the Ethics Committees in their regions and obtain relevant documents.

4. Retrospective ethics committee approval is not required for articles that have used research data before 2020, produced from master's / doctoral studies (should be specified in the article), submitted a publication application to the journal in the previous year, accepted but not yet published.

Within the scope of “TR Index Journal Evaluation Criteria,” all researchers who plan to submit their studies to WLS should pay attention to the above-mentioned issues and after filling in the "Publication Ethics and Ethics Committee Permission Certificate Declaration Form" given below in the link, they should send it to the journal along with their article.

Also; authors who will submit their studies within the scope of Article 1 and Article 2 must send the relevant documents (Ethics Committee Permission Document, Informed Consent Form, etc.) in addition to their documents.
